Fluoride is a natural mineral that can be found in some food and many water supplies. It can strengthen tooth enamel, and reduce the acid produced by the bacteria in your mouth. Using Fluoridated toothpaste and mouthwash are both good ways to create a healthy environment for your teeth.

How often should I visit the dentist?

Routine check ups are recommended every 6 months. Preventative care often catches problems early, so you can address them when they are small and less expensive.

How often should I change my toothbrush?

It is recommended to change your toothbrush every 3 months.

How can I prevent cavities?

The best cavity prevention is brushing and flossing twice a day, and regular dental check ups.

How can I prevent gum disease?

Good oral hygiene that includes brushing with fluoride toothpaste, flossing and using an antibacterial mouthwash. It’s also important to reduce the amount of sugary and acidic foods from your diet.
